It’s been a 5-year journey, but “Itinerant Painter” is currently at the printer and expected to be available next month – May 2017. Virginia McLaughlin, the now 95-year old subject of the book, says she has stopped painting murals, but is more than anxious to get on with a series of book signings to promote the book .

Her objective is to help young women in need by funding several scholarships with proceeds from the book: one at Stevens College, one at the University of Missouri, and one in Frederick County Maryland. A schedule of Virginia’s book signing locations will be posted here as it becomes available.
